WHITE LION Drummer To Have Custom Kit Created By POISON's ROCKETT
May 13, 2007WHITE LION drummer Troy Patrick Farrell has signed on rock Rockett Drum Works, a Southern California-based custom drum company founded by POISON drummer Rikki Rockett.
Commented Bobby Gibb, Artist Relations at Rockett Drum Works: "Troy has a vision in mind and wants to make a statement not only through his playing, but have a drumkit built exclusively for his needs onstage and a personality all its own.
"When Rikki and I presented Troy with the possibilities and introduced him to the custom drum world and our accessories, well.... let's just say Troy is suffering today from sensory overload!
"We are getting Troy involved in every detail of his tour kit, throne, and personlized stickbag, so he's assured he's getting what he wants. That's what we do! I'm taking Artists Relations to the next step.
"At Rockett Drum Works, besides Rikki, we are all drummers who have toured with bands you may have heard of, and understand that every drummer is different and needs a kit to fit their individual situation. And furthermore, feel comfortable when playing it. It's an instrument first! Then.... we create your kit's personality with no limits. To put it lightly... limits suck! We do what the corporate companies won't, by helping you to help us bring your vision to life. And before every drum, bag, or throne is shipped, it goes through an extensive quality assurance checklist before we put our badge on it."
